Tarina Macklem searches shorelines across the mitten & beyond looking for unique treasures which she crafts into home decor & gifts!
She says,
“I LOVE hunting along Our Great Lakes …..
Lake Erie is famous for dark blue glass. It’s not glass but I have been lucky enough to find “lucky stones” there
Lake Michigan colors are pastels …lavender , light blues,browns,greens and whites.”
She has collected some UV glass which glows under a black light. Her favorite pieces are milk glass, pottery pieces & Indian beads.
When not adding to her inventory of unique finds, Tarina enjoys being in nature, spending time with her grand kids, family and friends!
