We have exciting news to announce as well. This year we will be hosting the “Kickoff to Summer in Branch County” on Saturday, June 1st in conjunction with the Coldwater Noon Exchange Club. This event combines the Exchange Club’s Duck Race with the ABC Challenge both taking place on June 1st at Waterworks Park and the Branch County Fairgrounds. The ABC Challenge will begin at 9 AM and the Exchange Club’s Duck Race will kick off at 10 AM with the actual Duck Race starting at approximately 1:30.

Now, there are two family friendly events that will take place on the same day, literally right next to each other, that will provide fun for the entire family. Make a day of it as there will be additional activities for kids to participate in as well as food provided by the BCCDSV’s Hope Cafe. Plus, there’s a chance to win great prizes at the Duck Race.

We will also once again be partnering with the Branch County United Way’s Color Run as a part of our Registration process. The United Way helps out many local organizations and this is a great cause for us to be a part of as well.

For 2023, over $3,500 was donated back to various schools, school districts and community organizations that benefit young people in our communities.
